Walking The Path Less Traveled.

Power can be discovered within yourself when walking a path most don’t travel down.
For some there comes a point in life you will have a desire or need to go down the path less traveled. To feel things most don’t want to experience and see things not seen by many, and this trip is done within yourself. The path to finding a healed version of yourself, a road that ends at you no longer in victim mode or clinging on to survival tactics. Your walking into the season of thriving and venturing out into places never seen before.

However that destination comes with shedding the parts of you that love where you are and the parts of you that believe there’s no higher to reach. The parts that look around and seem to be okay with where you are in life. You have to say goodbye to the version of you scared to take the first step, or that lacks walking further than a few feet. The secret is to keep moving, you can only slow down to take in the scenery. Motivate yourself to always choose more and take each step to challenging yourself to be better than yesterday; that mindset makes the trek easier.

Step out of the unknown and push through, this can also look like immersing yourself into whatever your heart and soul needs at that time. Wherever passion lives, you make a home there.

Moving further down your path means surrender to finding the best version of yourself, to healing the wounds you pushed to the side, the pain you left unquestioned and finding a path to understanding yourself more; from a spiritual level and a level of consciously knowing yourself at all times.

Finding all the things that makes you, you, the healed parts and the parts to be worked on, the flawed and all the good. There is duality that is found along the way, with every wrong turn that’s taken, and truths to be revealed when you find yourself on the right track again.

Walking down the path of your choice could look a little selfish to others; choosing yourself first, speaking your mind and no longer being the punching bag can be difficult for others to process.
Sometimes walking that walk may also look like letting go of the need to always be the one with all the solutions.

In every good journey you will come to a body of water; symbolizing the flow of life. Early on you may come to the ocean, the unpredictability of the water, the overbearing power of the waves.
In this part of your walk you need to encounter a stream.
A stream flows through life effortlessly, mostly going towards one direction with no fight. A stream of water with time will lead you where you need to go, the ocean will create chaos and fear.  Learn to be more like the stream of water, steady and calm instead of crashing waves in all directions.

This is where you will meet your most disciplined self, as you connect higher with every turn, through the dark times, confusing seasons and the lonely moments. Still your mind and allow yourself to move forward on your path.

Take the first step no matter how hard it may seem, and be strong in the decision you make to remain disciplined as you move towards meeting the best version of yourself.

Until next time, may we all find the path to becoming our best selves and unlocking magically moments along the way.
